Lintec Corporation announced that its subsidiary Lintec (Suzhou) Tech Corporation has obtained certification under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) established by Textile Exchange, a non-profit organization in the U.S.

The GRS, an international standard for third-party certification, aims to increase the use of recycled materials in products and reduce or eliminate the harm caused by their production to the environment. To acquire this certification, companies must meet social, environmental, and chemical requirements at every stage of the final product process. In addition to the use of recycled materials in products, for example, the standard also considers working environments, energy and waste management, and the management of chemicals used throughout the supply chain.

Lintec (Suzhou) Tech Corporation manufactures and markets adhesive products for seals and labels. The GRS certification was acquired as part of its commitment to providing environmentally friendly products, including a lineup of label materials made from used PET resin, as well as in response to the particularly strong need for this certification among customers in China.
