- *1Using an established Japanese testing method (J.TAPPI No.41) reagents with 12 different mixing ratios of castor oil, toluene and heptane were dropped onto a test piece. Infiltration of the test piece was observed after 15 seconds. Larger values indicate higher oil resistance.
- *2The paper was formed into a bag, and water was placed in the bag. The bag was checked for signs of leakage after holding the water for 2 hours.

Results of practical oil-resistance measurement
Multiple layers of test paper were placed on oil-absorbing paper, and the test oil, etc., was dropped onto them. After 24 hours, the test paper (top) and oil-absorbing facial paper (bottom) were placed side by side, and photographed.
